Volkswagen & Audi – inventory and dealer management tool

Inventory and dealer management tool helps Moller Baltic Import to support more than 20 dealers across Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Each new order is processed through the system with automated order validation and approval processes in place, helping to make whole sales process fast and convenient.

System is built on Yii 2.0 PHP framework and hosted in cloud infrastructure with managed PostgreSQL database service. Integrations with business intelligence tools and automated scheduled tasks run in background to ensure order processing.

Because of detailed business process requirements from customer and active involvement during development, initial version was developed and launched in production in five months. Functional improvements are being added regularly since then.

Aerodium – wind tunnel scheduling and customer portal in multiple countries

Aerodium is a vertical wind tunnel that creates a wind stream in which customer can fly without special equipment. Customer portal and scheduling system allows to manage public and private bookings, make reservations and purchase gift cards, as well as ensures smooth flight experience when customer arrives on location. Automatically created media files (photos and videos) are available for preview and purchase and download afterwards.

System is built on Laravel framework with Laravel Nova administration panel integration. Aerodium tunnels are available worldwide, therefore multiple servers are run from single codebase in different locations. Docker helps to manage virtual environments for application and background tasks, such as media conversion.

Because of different business requirements in different countries, system allows to configure different tax settings (For example Europe VAT vs USA Sales Tax), time zones, date and currency formats. Different online payment methods are integrated per country basis as well.

Ministry of foreign affairs – booking software for Latvian embassies and consulates

Booking software allows anyone to schedule appointments to Latvian consulates and embassies worldwide. After registering each visitor and required services, system allows to choose from available dates and times and book the visit. Employees then can see the booking calendar with detailed info and manually manage bookings if necessary.

System is built on Yii 2.0 framework and PostgreSQL database engine. Scheduling algorithm works in multiple time zones and automatically matches visitors and selected services with available time slots – if two services requires two different customer service desks, closest possible time to both desks are arranged so that customer does not have to wait too long.

System is used both in large embassies (like in United Kingdom) with multiple service desks and small ones where requirements are much more simpler – different configuration options were added over time to support single system with different location requirements.

Car wash – self-service car wash solution

Self service car wash system requires modern and fast payment methods, therefore additionally to traditional cash payments and fixed POS terminals, we are developing mobile application for customers where different washing services can be selected and micro payments processed.

Integrations with APIs controlling hardware are implemented using event queue and processed on cloud infrastructure where Android and iOS applications connects as clients.

Hardware and software integrations are becoming more and more popular due to more advanced microcontrollers which allows for robust connectivity, supporting HTTP, MQTT and other popular data exchange protocols.
