Short answer
It depends on the rules of the specific programme. LIAA’s digitalisation programmes were mainly intended for digitalising company processes — digital products, services and artificial intelligence solutions. An ordinary marketing website doesn’t always qualify, but e-commerce, a customer portal or a booking system that changes how the company works may qualify better.
Why there’s no simple answer
The aim of LIAA’s digitalisation programmes was developing, introducing or transforming digital products, services, applications and processes — for example in sales, data management, logistics or production. Each programme has its own rules on eligible costs, and they have to be checked in the documents of the specific round.
What qualifies more often
- E-commerce integrated with inventory and accounting.
- A customer portal where customers place orders or bookings themselves.
- A booking or appointment system.
- A website as part of a wider digitalisation project.
What qualifies less
A simple informational site with no connection to the company’s processes.
Our advice
Plan the website as part of the company’s digitalisation — for example, with request handling, a CRM integration or a website with an AI agent. The 2025 LIAA round is currently closed — see is the programme open.
