Short answer
The price depends on how many systems the agent has to connect to, how complex the decisions are and how much data it has to process. A simple agent for one process costs considerably less than an agent that works with ERP, accounting and e-mail. On top of development there are running costs for using the language model and maintenance.
What makes up the price
- The number of systems — how many programs the agent needs to access (e-mail, CRM, accounting, warehouse). Each one needs an integration.
- The complexity of decisions — does the agent only sort, or does it make decisions with many exceptions?
- Data volume and quality — well-organised data means less work.
- Control requirements — approvals, logs, access rights.
- The user interface — does the agent work in the background, or does it need its own workspace?
Running costs
- Using the language model (paid by the amount of text processed).
- Server and maintenance.
- Improvements as processes change.
How to keep the budget under control
- Start with a prototype for one process — it shows the real accuracy and return.
- Calculate the return: how many hours a month will the agent save? See how to calculate the return.
- Check the funding options — see LIAA digitalisation support.
