Short answer
Yes, simple connections can be built with no-code tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n or Power Automate, as long as both programs have ready-made connectors. You need a developer when the integration is critical, the rules are complex, you have to work with local systems without connectors, or you need security and error control.
What you can do yourself
- New website form entry → a row in Google Sheets → an e-mail to the team.
- New customer in the online store → a contact in your e-mail marketing tool.
- Attachment in an e-mail → saved to a cloud folder.
When problems start
- There are so many connections that nobody knows what’s connected to what.
- Errors go unnoticed — the data just “doesn’t arrive”.
- You need logic with lots of exceptions.
- Costs grow with the number of operations.
- You need to connect systems without ready-made connectors, such as some Latvian accounting programs or industry systems.
Our advice
Start with no-code tools to test the idea. When the process becomes important to the business, move it to a stable integration with monitoring. Comparison: Zapier, Make, n8n or a custom solution.
