About the project
The “Splendid Palace” cinema is one of the most magnificent and oldest cinemas in Europe — it has been delighting film lovers since 1923.
The previous website was outdated, and a new one was needed that includes:
- the film programme,
- multilingual support,
- ticket sales,
- content management with different roles.
Over time a “Video on Demand” section was added, along with a shared content management system with the House of the Blackheads and Riga’s Houses (Rīgas nami) websites.
We created the design and did all of the development work.
